Lititz Man Arrested After A Domestic Incident in Reedsville

Mifflin County Regional Police were dispatched to the Reedsville Sheetz on Sunday on a domestic disturbance call. Officers met with the female victim & learned that a 23-y/o a former boyfriend, Cody Bowers of Lititz, had engaged the victim in a disturbance at her Reedsville residence. Officers were told that Bowers had arrived at the victim’s residence that morning & an argument had ensued with the victim attempting to the residence in her vehicle. Bowers pursued & smashed the windshield out of her vehicle before she fled in the vehicle to the Sheetz Store. Bowers again pursued & again engaged the victim in an altercation before fleeing the scene. While leaving the scene, Bowers crashed & disabled his then fled on foot. Regional Officers located Bowers a short distance from the scene & found him to be intoxicated. He was taken into custody & transported to the MCCF on charges of Simple Assault, DUI & misc. offenses in addition to a parole detainer from Lancaster Co.
