MORGAN WALLEN is still laying low after last week’s N-word controversy, but plenty of other people have something to say.
JIMMIE ALLEN hit up Twitter to talk about compassion. Quote, “Forgiveness is more powerful than abandonment. Our job as humans is to help each other be the best version of themselves.” In a separate post he brought up “accountability.”
Quote, “We all must be held accountable for our actions. Looking over my mistakes I remember the consequences I had to face, but I also remember the people that didn’t give up on me and were willing to help me DO better. Thankful for those people.”
Morgan’s sister Ashlyne came to his defense on Instagram. She agreed that he said something “unacceptable” . . . but it didn’t come from a place of hate or malicious intent. She also called out the “cancel culture.”
An African American music executive named Rakiyah Marshall took it easy on him. Quote, “This guy has a heart. Maybe a little ignorant, makes a lot of mistakes, may need extra love and care, has lost his fight with alcohol, but by no means is a racist.
Finally, DIPLO did a pre-Super Bowl party in Tampa on Saturday, and when he played their hit “Heartless”, “the crowd loved it.”
